  Job Summary

• The LPN Central Monitoring Technician monitors non-invasive cardiac activity of patient populations by continuous electrocardiographic display.

• The LPN Monitoring Technician communicates with the Registered Nurse any changes in the basic electrocardiographic pattern.

• Under the direction of the RN, the LPN Monitoring Technician also assists in nursing cares.

• The LPN Monitoring Technician is also responsible for ordering supplies and re-stocking supplies in the rooms and patient care carts.

  Education and/or Experience

• Licensed Practical Nursing degree required.

• ​​​​​​​ On-the-job training provided.

• Previous experience in medical field and/or telemetry monitoring preferred.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

  Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Must have current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure required.

  Work Schedule

• 7:00am-7:30pm, 7:00pm-7:30am, e/3rd wknd/hol, occas call; 72hrs/2wks

  Pay

  The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $20.75 - $29.25 per hour
