Amazon Software Development Engineer, AU Shopping and Seller Experiences in Austin, Texas

Description

Amazon Country Tech helps internal business teams for Amazon’s non-US retail websites (amazon.com.au, amazon.sg, etc.) increase customer, seller, and vendor engagement by integrating with and expanding services available on the US site today. When we launch a new retail web site, we bias for speed and provide a bare bones experience. We then add features based on the profile and preferences of the domestic customers (subscribe ‘n save, automated shipping rates for sellers, fulfillment center donations, etc.). We’re hiring full-time internal software engineers to globalize and expand US features internationally and build new features specific to our AU and SG customers.

Country Tech is looking for Software Development Engineers (SDEs) that enjoy cross organization views of all components of the Amazon retail stack; from ordering on the website to delivery to partnering with sellers and manufacturers for site listings and fulfillment. If you like to see the big picture, deliver high impact features across multiple teams, and root out ambiguity with technical knowledge, fast learning, and tenacity, then we want you on our team!

You will help us expand .com features and our #1 customer service experience to countries all over the world by partnering with internal development teams, refactoring services to support global sites, and driving feature development across the world.
