Our Team:

The US Vaccine Marketing and Commercial Strategy team creates and implements customer centric solutions to fully realize the potential of our innovative portfolio and future pipeline. This requires going beyond differentiated (BIC/FIC) vaccine assets to manage complex product operations and devising competitive customer experience advantages. The team includes marketing, early commercial leadership, and product operations.

The Portfolio marketing Associate Director is responsible for developing and leading the execution of the portfolio marketing strategy who has the objective to develop a unique Sanofi Vaccines cross-brands identity, along with Account Management and Retail solutions teams, that authentically reflects Sanofi values and commitment to excellence. This will include the creation of customer personas & customer journeys to enhance our customer centric focus and the development of our broad Portfolio Strategy.

Main responsibilities:

Serve as a key strategic resource for Sanofi Vaccines, fully understanding brand imperatives to execute vaccine portfolio strategy.

Identify customer centric opportunities and solutions to develop, implement, and communicate these solutions specifically within our large, targeted health systems.

Developing Portfolio Solution and Value Based Content primarily focused on Field Facing Teams that engage with Targeted Health Systems and other Large Organized Customers

Expectations:

  • Defining and implementing the Above-Brand Portfolio segmentation strategy that identifies the greatest financial opportunities and informs deployment and execution for all channels in collaboration with Insights and Analytics teams.

  • Driving the assessment, research, creation, and implementation of the Portfolio strategy to drive strong product performance primarily within targeted Health Systems segments (in collaboration with account management team) and contracting entities (e.g., GPOs, PBGs, etc.).

  • Collaborating with Franchise marketing teams to refine strategies, to adjust to changing competitive landscape to develop a single view of our customer for the US vaccines organization.

  • Setting, tracking, and reporting of above-brand performance in customer journey measurement plans.

  • Defining impact measurement KPIs to validate business impact generated.

Expectations:

  • Leading the development of the annual portfolio strategic integrated marketing plans aligned to portfolio strategic imperatives and business goals, including cross-brands trust and confidence initiatives that aims to improve our partnership with our customers.

  • Building a portfolio strategy and positioning in partnership with all internal stakeholders (communication, public affairs, R&D, …) to emphasize our portfolio strengths.

  • Defining omnichannel strategy in collaboration with Omnichannel team for above brand communication and leading tactic implementation et execution

  • Managing the creative agency and other third-party vendors in the development and execution of campaigns

  • Managing the internal legal, regulatory, and medical review and approval of relevant materials to enable HCP communications.

  • Identifying insight gaps and recommending market research to meet strategic goals and monitor performance.

  • Building a One Sanofi Vaccines incentive compensation plan with US GTMC team

About you

Who you are:

You are an energetic collaborator who will need to be able to work productively and efficiently in a cross-functional environment and must have a working knowledge of those areas to successfully execute our Portfolio marketing plan.

We expect to have a collaborator that will be a experienced marketing strategist that has a robust experience in annual planning and portfolio strategy.

You must have strong project management skills, and analytical skills.

The candidate needs to have a solid knowledge of US customers segments including Health Systems and contracting entities.

Basic qualifications:

  • Required: minimum Bachelor’s degree, ideally Master’s Degree

  • Marketing expertise – US Vaccine Marketplace preferred

  • More than 5 years relevant experience specific to development of Brand/Portfolio Strategy development and execution

  • Account Management and Business to Business experience preferred

  • Position requires strong project management and analytical skills

  • Proactive leadership skills and collaboration skills to establish strong networks

  • Proven ability to partner across a matrixed organization including Public Affair, Medical, Market Access and Account Management

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional groups which may include Marketing, Sales, Research & Development, Medical Affairs, Business Development, Market Research, Public Affairs, Life Cycle Management, and Finance.
