PRN/Days (6:45a- 7:15p). 4 shifts per 6 weeks. 1 minor and 1 major holiday per year.

Patient Population: Patients of all acuities, ages, and stages of life.

Patient Ratios: 1:4

Number of Beds: 21

Department Specifics: 20k visits per year, Level III Trauma Center, Primary Heart Attack Center, Primary Stroke Center, In-house L&D services, National Certification Champion Award winner from Board Certification of Emergency Nursing (BCEN) with 56% certification rate, 100% Board Certified Emergency Physicians, Strong Unit Engagement through active Shared Governance Council.

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Centennial is a full-service 118 bed hospital serving Frisco and the surrounding communities. With more than 600 specialists on our medical staff, our services include digestive care, labor and delivery, heart health, emergency and trauma care, surgical services, orthopedics, intensive care, internal medicine, and more. Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited course or have at least 2 years of experience surpassing the minimal qualification required.

  • Field of Study: The applicable major should be nursing.

  • A minimum of 2 years in a relevant role is expected.

  • Certification: Hold a BLS certificate now or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role.

  • Registered Nurse License

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification

MAJOR - Nursing

EXPERIENCE - 2 Years of Experience

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Registered Nurse (RN)

Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
